Above is “Black Madonna”. The portrait above depicts Mary and Jesus depicted with darker skin. How could this be when we were mainly taught to believe Jesus Christ was a certain color (mainly from the images and paintings shown throughout the Roman Catholic Church). What I find interesting is that many people around the world portray Jesus’s image to look more like the people of that region.
